Well mostly people of Nepal use pharmaceutical medicines these days. I think Nepal doesn’t follow any strict rules when it comes to buying and selling medicines. Medicines are easily accessible in the drug stores to general people. Even the shopkeeper prescribe medicines to the people who comes asking for the medicine for the general cough and cold, sore throat, fever, and lots of other disease. Amongst all medicine found in Nepal, the most popular medicine is called Cetamol. The chemical composition of Cetamol is 500 mg Paracetamol tablet IP. This is over-the-counter medicine found all over the world. In USA and Canada, it is provided by the name of Tylenol. It is given to the patients who have fever. I don’t know if prescribing this medicines by even the shopkeeper or prescribing ourself is good for health or not but I definitely disagree with the people’s decision on accepting the medicine and not going for the checkups to the doctors.
