Can You Handle Some Tongue Twisters?

Tuesday, May 29, 2007

I was just cleaning my old books and stuffs, and I found one old magazine with some tongue twisters in it. I thought may be I would post it here so that all of the people could enjoy it but the question is can you handle it? So have fun pronouncing it. Lets see how good you can twist your tongue but be careful not to get your tongue twisted by your tongue twister.

But it was sad to see Soar so sore just because See’s saw sawed Soar’s seesaw!

My Prediction - Spurs Versus Pistons In NBA Finals

With San Antonio Spurs 2-0 win over Utah Jazz from the Western Conference Finals and now Detroit Pistons doing the same job 2-0 against Cleveland Cavaliers from the Eastern Conference Finals, I am having this strong feeling that the two teams will face each other this season's final of the greatest game of basketball, NBA.

Well Till next game, it is yet undecided but both of the teams, Spurs and Pistons, if they will win that game. The next game for Spurs is in the home court of Jazz. Well it was an easy game for the first time in Jazz's home ground, but this time they are under pressure so they are definitely going to give their bestest best given the fact of the home court advantage. Duncan was commenting in his last game that it's going to be underdog fight between them, and that is so true.

For Pistons, it was Thursday night that they won by 79-76 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. LeBron James of the Cavaliers had hard time finding his ways to beat the Pistons. Piston has shown their teamwork quality in the past by wining championship in the past too, and they still have got it this season. At the end of that game at 24.3 second remaining, Rasheed Wallace of Pistons jumper gave the Pistons a one-point lead. After that, Richard Hamilton hit two free throws the score remained 79-76 at the end. I didn't get the full game but I saw the final part, but I am now pretty much sure that Cavaliers had pretty rough time with Pistons.

Now that the finals are on and everybody is waiting for the next games, I have this strange feeling that it's going to be like 2005, the NBA finals, Spurs Versus Pistons. It's only I cannot predict as of now who is going to win that NBA championship this year. Well it's only my prediction but who knows miracles do happen. So lets keep watching the game that i love the most. NBA - I love this game!

Summer Program For Kids

During Summer, you will have more than one month's of vacation. This is the time where lots of kids of young age mostly 4 to 14 have hard time focusing in their studies. Summer program seems to be the best idea to get something going on with their studies as well as their extracurricular activities. I don't have a child of my own but my sister has left the responsibility of her children over me, and I have to look after them. So that makes me a responsible guardian and moreover a parent.

In their past, they have hard time focusing into studies and they are moreover distracted away from studies and to sports, and I have found most of their friends smoking and catching up other bad habits. Though they haven't started smoking or other such act, but I should take actions and get them enrolled to some program or something like that. I was just thinking that and I found Score has a summer program and they assure us that our child could advance 1.5 grade levels in the course of the summer. They have different programs within the summer programs such as Writing Camp, which can help our child improve and practice writing skills in just four weeks, and r Study Skills Camp, which can help our child transition into a new academic year with the skills they needs to build confidence and achieve success at school. So, I think this offer is pretty good enough for my kids to get them busy studying and having fun at the same time for this summer. I think every responsible parents should think about this Summer programs by Score.

Spurs Win Over Jazz – One Step Closer To Championship

Friday, May 25, 2007

Yesterday was quite fun watching NBA after quite some long time. It was San Antonio Spurs versus Utah Jazz. Though I watched the match from the second half only, the match was like one-way ride from that point onwards. Spurs took the lead throughout the game. Jazz was never close enough to give Spurs any trouble of panic as such.

The cameraman was showing up Derek Fisher putting his hands on his forehead and nodding while he was on the bench. Manu Ginobili showed some of his superb skill of quickness and scored 17 points but he had some misses too but he never gave up and kept them coming. The heart of the Spurs, Tim Duncan, had 26 points and 14 rebounds but I think he wasn’t fully there in that game. I wonder if he has more to show for the next game. He has been one of my favorite players in NBA, and his and mine shooting styles are quite similar with our hands raised high up while we score. It was in the fourth quarter that Bowen started hitting three of his three pointers. He doesn’t scores quite much but he is there when his team needs him, both defensively and offensively.

Jazz’s players had some highlights too, with Carlos Boozer scoring 33 points 15 rebounds but it wasn’t enough to beat Spurs in their own home court. At last, Tony Parker sealed the game with his final and only three pointer of his own this game at 105-96. So now Spurs move one step closer to the championship through the Western Conference Finals with the 2-0 lead over Utah Jazz. I think Spurs is going for one more win and may be holding their one more championship trophy this season.

PPP Direct Launches

I was just going through the PayPerPost forum because I had some problems with one of my recent posts. One of my friend who is also a postie here in PayPerPost, informed me about PPP Direct Launching program and I too saw this opportunity in the opportunity board. So I visited andybeard.eu and PayPerPost's Blog where I found lots of things related to PayPerPost direct launching program.

I found out that the middle person mostly are taking the benefit of us posties. The other competitors like ReviewMe charge 50-100% markup and they will take half or more of our money. PayPerPost Direct has a different way. PayPerPost just charges 10% and most of that goes to the Paypal services and redit Card Fees. So this program cuts off the middleman and links the advertisers and the bloggers.

In this program, PayPerPost provides us this specific badges, and if any advertiser wants us to blog for them, they will just simply click on those badges and can offer us the deal. Before this process, we wouldn't know about the real deal or the sum of money the advertisers would pay for and how much we would get, but now since we get direct linked to the advertisers we can make money even more than before. Thanks to PayPerPost for this new program. I am sure lots of the bloggers will get a great amount of benefit from this program.

Editing My Site's Outlook

Thursday, May 24, 2007

It was so tiring and kind of frustrating time choosing the right template and then customizing it, especially when you don’t know a thing about any XML or CSS codes. With lots of great help from my friend Sameer, finally I had my final touches to this site yesterday night. Actually, he is the one who chose this template for me. At first I thought it wasn’t good enough but there wasn’t any template rather good than this one. So we chose this one, but the appearance of this site just sucked. Its name is www.dauglydevil.com anchored as Da Ugly Devil’s Heaven, but it had nothing that would look like devilish. Lol. Well now too it doesn’t seem so much of devilish look but its rather soothing and fine than before. Lots of my friends and regular visits have commented that this look is way too better than what it was a week before. So, I am quite proud of this outlook.

It was day before yesterday, we had nothing to do and were hanging on to the digitalpoint forum site. We were talking about giving my site a new look making the background all dark and text a different look and our links a different look and stuffs that would make my site look totally different. The thing was neither of us knew any XML or CSS code. Sameer has done the editing of his site too but it was all hit and trial for his both sites, Addicted To Sports and Arsenal Football Blog. So we thought of giving it a try. Finally after an hour of the trial job it was all done. So we slept quite soundly that day. Yesterday, all was hell. Lol. While editing we took out all the old codes from feedburner and google analytics and other codes. So my reader from 19 went down to 3 due to the loss of code, and one of my post got rejected as my site had lost the link for Disclosure Policy too. I was so much troubled. I didn’t know what to do and didn’t know what went wrong at that time, but finally I figured it out that the codes must have been erased. So finally we were again able to put the codes back into their own places, and now I am quite done with my outlook, I guess so. Anyways, I hope I would get lots of traffic from this new outlook and if any of you including my friends, pals, regular visitors, or anyone who views this page, if you have some suggestions or comments, please do not hesitate to mention them. I would love any comments from you guys, negative or positive. Hope I’d get some comments and ideas in future and I’ll be upgrading my site time to time.

Is Rock and Roll Really Satan’s Prayer?

Monday, May 21, 2007

When I was a kid, I didn’t really listen that much of songs that deeply. Well I did but not that much like I do nowadays. I was kind of outgoing person and love to walk and roam around new places on foot and play lots of outdoor as well as indoor games. Then in my adolescence, I used to listen to lots of songs, mostly rock and roll, and then came the metals and heavy metals. Well I listen to all kind of songs from sentis, jazz and blues to country songs, rock and roll, metal, heavy metal, and much more. I am not that much into hip-hop though. At that time, I used to listen to a lot of rock and roll and stuffs. Lately, Led Zeppelin has become one of my favs, and my all time Starr is still Bryan Adams.

I have one very close friend from the past 5-6 years. He is now a newborn true Christian. He has lots of believe in Christ, being the mercy god and all. It is not that I don’t respect Christ or any god of any beliefs for that matter, I just found something kind of funny about his remarks on rock and roll songs and metal songs. He once told me, “Do you know why we true Christians don’t listen to rock and roll and metal songs?” I knew there was something about them not listening to the song but I wasn’t certain. So I asked, “Why?” He then goes, “We believe those songs are like prayer for Satan. You can actually hear Satan’s prayer if you reverse the tape or the cassette and play it.” Actually, I had done that while I was a kid. I had turned the tape and then I could hear awkward and different sound while the tape is played backwards. His remarks made me laugh for a while thinking that was too weird and stupid remarks not made by him but made by those who actually first commented on that sort of songs. I just think that it doesn’t matter if it is even sung by the devil himself, as long as your heart is pure and you are close to god. Music is something that is meant to calm you down, feel comfortable, groovy, help express yourself, and feel alive. So there is nothing wrong with either rock and roll or metal or whatever devilish songs. I used to love it, am loving it, and will always love music of any kind as long as I think they make me feel alive. I just have three words for all, Rock on dudes!

Spiderman Vs Superman

People who are reading this post, this post doesn’t compare the powers or personality of Spiderman or Superman. I am just writing this post because of my passion for cartoons and Hollywood movies about Spidy and Superman. Since my childhood, I have been reading lots of comic books and watched tons of cartoons. I just loved them. It was not that long that I watched the latest movie, Superman Returns. That was fun. I went with one of my best friends, Malina, and other friends Capt. Sampurna, Er. Shekhar, and Tina. I was like talking about that movie for more than a month. So I was often called Superman myself. I used to have his picture in my display picture of msn messenger and yahoo messenger, and one of my dearest friend, Priya (Angel), used to and still does call me Superman.

Now new Spiderman is in the theater near us. I had watched both Spiderman 1 and 2. I loved them both, but I didn’t watch them in the theater. So for this part 3, I was hoping I would go to a theater this time. But since I am too broke and I have no partner who would take me to that movie, I am still unable to determine either new Superman or Spiderman is the good movie this time. I didn’t like new Superman that much. I mean I love the story and all but I liked the old actor better. I mean his acting was just so awesome. Newly improved Superman has his looks for sure, and I am not saying that he can’t act, I am just saying that in comparison to the old one, he is little bit fading away in that Clark personality. Well that’s what I think. I still have yet to find out about the new spidy movie. I hope I will get to see that soon till it is in the theaters.

Win A Date With Mirelly Taylor!

I have never met any Hollywood actor or actress in my life, and dating one of them is like an impossible dream for me. I cannot imagine of dating any one of them, i can just dream them, but yet lots of dreams can come true so who knows right? I have been wondering around the net and recently found out something at GoFish that is running a contest that allows you to win a date with celebrity, Mirelly Taylor. Actress, Mirelly Taylor, has appeared on movies so many best movies such as "Kiss Me Again" and "Serving Sara" and besides the movies she also has been in television shows including “Las Vegas”, “Punk’d”, and “Numb3rs”.

Well I am kind of new to this contest thing in internet sites, but this one definitely caught my eyes. Seduce a Celeb will run on GoFish.com over the next 14 weeks. So you should definitely check out the Free videos at GoFish.com now. You can see Emmy Award Winning Producer, Scott Sternberg, and Andrew Firestone from “The Bachelor” also being a part of the show.

Seduce a Celeb is an online first! The online audience actually becomes part of the program through the submission of user videos. I am quite sure about lots of male contestants crawling over at that contest. I am sure that would be one hell of a fun being in that contest. I just still cannot imagine date with Mirelly Taylor. It will just be more than awesome. Aren't you guys interested?
