Bid4Prizes Offers Cool Prizes

Friday, August 31, 2007

I have never been lucky in my life and when it comes to winning prizes and gifts, I never showed interest. Somehow I always end up empty-handed in most of the games I play. But as they say one should never give up and lose hope and try, try, and try until you die. The main attraction these days has been winning by bidding. Free gifts are the mostly being offered these days.

I have just found a perfect site for those who loves to play those user-friendly games online and win prizes by bidding the lowest unique bid. The site is bid4prizes.com. This site is the best if you have that bidding quality and mainly your luck to win Sweepstake and Cash prize that they have offered in their site. This site is basically a text based reverse-action game and you have to bid the lowest unique bid to win the prize. It has lots of prizes from Apple I-Phone’s, HDTV’s, Designer Bags,SCION XB’s, and more Cash Prizes. I find it very user-friendly and I think almost everyone can play and bid. It is just that simple, and you have a new winner everyday.

We can just use you cell phone or our own computer to bid on a wide range of products which are again mostly including automobiles, consumer electronics, apparel, trips, games, and mobile content. The process of bidding includes wither playing for free or on the web or signing up for a premium monthly plan that provides us with multiple bid opportunities. Mobile tips direct us in our bidding decisions, let us know if their current bid is unique or the lowest, and it help us navigate our way to win cash and prizes. Seeing all the the goodies I myself am thinking of bidding for some of the cool products. I think everyone should.

Future Of Nepal?

I just got bored of all the things these days. So I thought of writing some of my personal feelings here since this is a my own personal blog... Well I know I have been writing lots of business-related post these days but the thing is nothing interesting news seems to come my way these days. Sometimes I feel like I am born in the wrong place at the wrong time. Well I cannot change all that and I don't believe in anything such as destiny or fate. I am not an atheist but I am not that religious either. I am just a normal sane human being who seeks peace and harmony and mostly some adventure and excitement in life. I don't mean only in my life but for everyone. Everyone should have rights to live freely and rest should respect their emotions.

I am not much of a philosopher nor do I know much about life, but I feel like life in Nepal really isn't a life anyone would want these days. I don't know who to blame. First thing that comes in my mind are the politicians. I just remembered an instance. I won't display the name of that popular politician but once the same people used to throw rocks and now the same people are just worshiping him in a way. The incident was in the capital of the country, Kathmandu. The same politician is now the hero and now is on one of the top most position where everybody is giving him respect and everybody is presenting flowers instead of rocks. I really don't understand how they do it...

Second comes the people who live in Nepal (that does include me too but I just can't help it). I have often heard Nepalese people being named as "Bheda" (sheeps, as there is a saying if one sheep falls from a hill everybody follows to that one to the death). I find it so true. Sadly, I am a Nepali too but the truth is truth. For instance, I remember this event while we were in our basketball court at TC. Lots of people were there, mostly people from outside the valley watching the cricket game. I was with my basketball playing friend's group. Suddenly we saw some girl was on some top of the building and the guys began to tease the shooting crew and the girls by whistling around. It was one guy at first and everybody was just staring at our friend who started it but surprisingly after just a minute or so the same people were following us and they were teasing the girls and we were just sitting there seeing the scenario of "Nepali Bheda." That's what we named it back then. This is one of the bad qualities of Nepalese people which the politicians are taking benefit of.

So mostly I blame the people who live in Nepal mostly then the politicians. The power is in our hands but with that in mind, we should never misuse our powers. The government is so unstable at this moment and lots of people are just going by their way. Mostly "Nepal Banda" (Where the whole country is shut down. All the shops and business are closed due to the strike) is the worst way of showing demonstration. I am sure all of us know that but yet we are doing it. It seems so insane. We are using the last measure of the strike in our first step, what comes after that??? Destructions? Killing people? And lastly Death or Suicide???

Power Cords By TCA

Tuesday, August 28, 2007

Ever had a problem with your power cables of you personal computer or laptop? Once I had the problem where somehow the main power supply blew off and the power cord was completely destroyed. I had bought a low-quality power cord and it might be result for that problem. Now, I have seen lots of quality power cords in TCA Inc. They are known for HDMI cables and CAT5e/CAT6 network cables. They had now started to expand their power cord production as well. They have about 50,000 cords in their stocks which are due to arrive. They currently have four different types of power cables namely C13 to C14 Power Cable, 5-15P to C13, Laptop Cables, and Rotating Plug to C13 which are featured in their site. Their page will soon be updated with 20 different variations with 5-10 different lengths per connector type. Be sure to visit the site if you need any power cords in future.

Saving Wealth In The Form Of Gold

Sunday, August 26, 2007

I live in Nepal and here people still have lots of values for the ornaments specially made out of gold. In ancient ages, the kings and the wealthy people used to preserve their money in the form of gold. From the time of ancient Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans to modern times gold bullion is a unique investment. No wonder still today that trend is followed in our countries and some others as well.

The main problem in this kind of saving is that there is always a fear of fake companies in the market who will do anything like selling us the fake gold or other ornaments. We can only trust such companies who have good reputation in the market. One of the Company is Monex Deposit Company (MDC) where we can purchase gold or other precious metals for immediate personal delivery or arrange for convenient and safe storage at an independent bank or depository. For over 30 years they have been America’s gold and precious metals investment leader. They provide gold in the form of coin or ingot form. Ingots are generally gold ingots of pure bullion cast in a convenient size and shape. Coins have a currency value or they are actually defined as ingots. So I would definitely want to buy Monex Precious Metals as they have been the America’s best dealer with a convenient market and competitive precious metals prices over the decades.

Game: Helicoper

Saturday, August 25, 2007

Time for another game. My game loving reader has been asking me about putting up some games for them. This time they wanted just a simple game with some clicks. So I searched some in my personal computer and found a perfect one. I just always remembered my mom and dad commenting on playing games as I was old enough to hang on to games, but I don't know why still I feel like playing computer games whenever I have free time. I watch cartoons too. May be I am still a kid inside... I don't care of what others say as long as I do what I want. So I will surely play those games as long as I want, and I want everybody to try it as well. It is the best way to kill time when you are in front of you computer. Enjoy!!!

Vacation Homes in Orlando

Friday, August 24, 2007

I have always heard of Disney World but never been there. I would surely love to go visit that place someday may be in Christmas, Spring break, or any summer break. Well I have managed to gather information about the place to stay while my visit in Disney World. As we all know Disney World is Orlando's biggest draw but they have more to offer as well. Vacation homes in Orlando is where I will stay while I am at Orlando. Orlando really has lots to offer when it comes to vacationing. Within 40 minutes of drive we can reach to the beautiful beaches and we can find lots of outstanding resorts and vacation homes to stay in and that too for less than most other popular destination places. Well I am not a golf fan but for I think I should try once if I am in this vacation as the top rated golf courses are within a 40 minute drive than anywhere else in Florida. The second largest convention center in the world is also in Orlando.

Most of you who are reading this posts and who have already been to Orlando must be asking I have been to that places lots of time and why should I go there again and not other places? Well I would say you should go to see the changes they have made over the past three to five years. They have promised us that they will be upgrading their area attraction and trying to make Orlando a great destination for the entire family. They have more of competitive theme parks and have the record of 52 them parks in the World. Mostly they are continuously adding new rides and new attractions and they are really competing with the other theme parks in the area. I am sure their continuous upgrade and their advancement has more to offer every time we go there. I just am waiting for the time when I can be finally there.

An Interesting Conversation

I got a forward email from my ex-boss where I used to do Medical Transcription job. This conversation has lots of humor and logic and everything in it. I am sure all of you guys will love this post. I did.

An Atheist Professor of Philosophy speaks to his class on the problem Science has with God, The Almighty.

He asks one of his new students to stand and.....

Prof: So you believe in God?
Student: Absolutely, sir.

Prof: Is God good?
Student: Sure.

Prof: Is God all-powerful?
Student: Yes.

Prof: My brother died of cancer even though he prayed to God to heal
him. Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But God
didn't.
How is this God good then? Hmm?

(Student is silent.)

Prof: You can't answer, can you? Let's start again, young fellow. Is
God good?

Student: Yes.

Prof: Is Satan good?
Student: No.

Prof: Where does Satan come from?
Student: From...God...

Prof: That's right. Tell me son, is there evil in this world?
Student: Yes.

Prof: Evil is everywhere, isn't it? And God did make everything.
Correct?

Student: Yes.

Prof: So who created evil?

Student does not answer.

Prof: Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these
terrible things exist in the world, don't they?

Student: Yes, sir.

Prof: So, who created them?

Student has no answer.

Prof: Science says you have 5 senses you use to identify and observe
the world around you. Tell me, son...Have you ever seen God?

Student: No, sir.

Prof: Tell us if you have ever heard your God?
Student: No, sir.

Prof: Have you ever felt your God, tasted your God, smelt your God?
Have you ever had any sensory perception of God for that matter?

Student: No, sir. I'm afraid I haven't.

Prof: Yet you still believe in Him?
Student: Yes.

Prof: According to empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol,
science says your GOD doesn't exist. What do you say to that, son?

Student: Nothing. I only have my faith.

Prof: Yes. Faith. And that is the problem science has.

Student: Professor, is there such a thing as heat?
Prof: Yes.

Student: And is there such a thing as cold?
Prof: Yes.

Student: No sir. There isn't.

(The lecture theatre becomes very quiet with this turn of events.)

Student: Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat,
mega heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat. But we don't have anything called cold. We can hit 458 degrees below zero which is no heat, but we can't go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold. Cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold.

Heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the
absence of it.

(There is pin-drop silence in the lecture theatre.)

Student: What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as
darkness?

Prof: Yes. What is night if there isn't darkness?

Student: You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of
something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light,
flashing light....But if you have no light constantly, you have
nothing and it's called darkness, isn't it? In reality, darkness
isn't. If it were you would be able to make darkness darker,
wouldn't you?

Prof: So what is the point you are making, young man?

Student: Sir, my point is your philosophical premise is flawed.
Prof: Flawed? Can you explain how?

Student: Sir, you are working on the premise of duality. You argue there is life and then there is death, a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can't even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully
understood either one.

To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life: just the absence of it.

Now tell me, Professor. Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?

Prof: If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes, of course, I do.

Student: Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?

(The Professor shakes his head with a smile, beginning to realize
where the argument is going.)

Student: Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going
endeavor, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a
scientist but a preacher?

(The class is in uproar.)

Student: Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the
Professor's brain?

(The class breaks out into laughter.)

Student: Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor's
brain, felt it, touched or smelt it? No one appears to have done so.
So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable,
demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain, sir.

With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures, sir?

(The room is silent. The professor stares at the student, his face unfathomable.)

Prof: I guess you'll have to take them on faith, son.

Student: That is it sir... The link between man & god is FAITH. That is all that keeps things moving & alive.

DO YOU KNOW WHO THAT STUDENT WAS?

This is a true story and the student was none other than Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, the Ex-President of India

VoIP Phone Systems By Xpander

Thursday, August 23, 2007

As we know day by day the world is advancing and technology has helped us in so many different ways. Now we can have the latest technologies in our hands and slowly they are replacing all the old hard and expensive ways and helping mankind as a whole. Mostly I find internet world is changing the world so rapidly. Through its service, you wont have to move a bit out of your personal computer and everything is provided in a click of your mouse and soft typing of your keyboard.

One of the benefits which can be used through the internet can be revolutionizing VoIP phone systems. There are so many VoIP phone systems which are organized by lots of companies. Amongst all, I find VoIP phone systems by Xpander are designed to be the most flexible and user friendly business phone systems on earth. If you have broadband and web control panels, you can just simply use VoIP service as they have features like plug & play VoIP phones where you re route your extension, manage voicemail, and click to dial users. I still remember the trouble I had while installing phone services at my house. We had to pay upfront cash and lots of capital expenditures were also there that come from buying and maintaining my old PBX phone system. Well with the Nimbus VoIP phone systems all these costs are reduced and with it comes unlimited US calling and free dialing to any other Nimbus VoIP phone in the world. Mostly this service plays a vital on in any business either they are big business or small ones. I think everybody should consider the benefits of VoIP and start using its services. It is the only wise decision so far and far too much better than using traditional PBX phone systems.

Get Paid To Blog With Smorty

Tuesday, August 21, 2007

I have been blogging for the past six months or so. Well throughout my experience I just love it and it is time to get pro now and I would love to blog which will be a great help for me financially as well. So I have been searching many ways from which I can earn some bucks. Mostly I have been browsing different websites and forums in search of the best sites where I could use my blogging talent and earn something for me. I had submitted my blogs to many of those paying sites but since I didn't have a good PR (page rank), my blog wasn't approved in time. But recently lots of those site have been approving my blog and giving me chance to blog for their advertisers and I am having a lot of good opportunities from those sites these days.

Smorty is one of the best amongst those paying sites that I found. Smorty just connects the advertisers to us bloggers. It is a win win situation for all of us. The advertisers pay Smorty to find the good quality bloggers to write a good review with links back to them. So Smorty just is a platform where the advertisers meet the bloggers where bloggers get paid to blog and advertisers get their reviews done with some links back to them.

Smorty is just so simple to use as well. You just need to sign up and add your information in their database and then add your blog. After they review your blog and if it qualifies, you are ready to blog for money. I am sure with Smorty you will have fun getting paid for blogging with their service and the advertisers will also have a quality review and have fun advertising on blogs.

Skype System Down Worldwide

Saturday, August 18, 2007

I never imagined Skype services would ever face the problem and I had never thought that it would ever be out of service for more than 24 hours. Well I am wrong this time. They have been updating their service and currently the services are down for a while. I am in Nepal and it is currently around 2 a.m. and well it won't be a problem for us here as it is nighttime and most of the people here must be asleep but I am just thinking of those people who are in Europe and mostly in United States who are having daytime. They must be having a lot of trouble with the Skype services as I am sure most of the people these days use Skype for communication. Even lots of businesses runs through it's services.

Usually my friends here and I used to have voice chat conversation through Skype as well but today we are being unable to do that. Though there are lots of other communication methods, we prefer Skype as the services it provides are just awesome. I wonder what kind of changes will they make after this service down. Skype heartbeat has made statement that Skype is on the road to recovery and Skype that is stabilizing and the this process may continue throughout the day. Like thousands of the Skype users, I am too waiting for the recovery of Skype. I hope their services will be even more better and advanced with the recovery of this Skype system down.
