I haven’t written to my blog for quite a long time now and it is all due to the business and personal struggle with my life. Well Google did it this time! I mean it forced me to write something good for my readers and for myself to share amongst everybody via my blog. I had noticed that Google has been changing its “doodle” (I guess they call it that way). And this time it was different. I had noticed it had some kind of artistic guitar view since yesterday but didn’t know what it was. It is only today that I accidentally strum one of the strings and to my surprize, the string actually strum and a beautiful melody came out of it. Then I noticed that it actually can be played and after a while I noticed a record button. Besides it was a keyboard icon. As I pressed the keyboard icon, now my keyboard strokes were making the strums and I could make music with my keyboards. Quite amazing! I hit the record button and viola it records my strums and after 30 seconds my composition was recorded by Google and then it displayed a url which had my compositions recorded.
As I had rested my mouse on the guitar for a while, the amazing and revealing letters appeared on my screen as ”Les Paul’s 96th Birthday”. I did a small research over the Google itself and found out that it was the birthday of the great Les Paul’s 96th birthday. Paul, born Lester William Polfus, is considered to be the father of electric guitar. He first attempted to amplify the audio on his acoustic guitar at age 13 and tried to place a telephone receiver under the strings. He figured out that placing a phonograph needle in the guitar would amplify all six strings, and had a working prototype of the electric guitar by 1929.
Some of the Google users and guitar players have recorded and put the music on the youtube as well. So go ahead and explore the new Google of Doodle and create your own masterpiece today. Enjoy…
