Britney Spears made a $25,000 charitable donation last night after watching TV show 'Idol Gives Back', which portrayed African children suffering from malaria.

The singer reportedly googled the disease after watching the show in tears and decided to make the donation with her credit card.

Under the ruling of the court, however, Spears had to seek permission from her father Jamie Spears, who is co-conservator of her estate until July 1, reports Life And Style.

Meanwhile, the singer will not have a recurring role on 'How I Met Your Mother', despite rumours to the contrary.

She made a guest appearance on the show on March 24, but actor Neil Patrick Harris says she will not return.

"She's not an actress," he told MTV.com. "She played a role for a week, and did a really nice job, but the workload involved with doing memorisation and the purging of comedy over and over is really, really hard. I mean, it takes a strong skill set to do that every week."

She’s well-known for her jet-setting ways, and yesterday Paris Hilton was spotted at the Montreal Airport prepping for yet another transatlantic flight- this time to London to reunite with her rockstar boyfriend.

The “Stars are Blind” singer seems to have returned to her all-black ensemble tendencies (curiously acquired shortly after she started dating Benji Madden- shocker!) as she sported a black jacket and black trousers.

Earlier in the day, Paris shopped like it was going out of style, stopping in front of the Centre Bell for a few photo opportunities.

Hilton was in Montreal to promote her new line of shoes over the weekend. Upon her arrival to Browns Shoes store, she said, “I’m so excited to be in Montreal again, I love Canada. Kevin Federline might play the part of the pauper to his pop princess ex-wife Britney Spears, but in Las Vegas he is king.

Federline spent over $43,000 on Las Vegas hotels, dining and shopping between May 2007 and January of this year, according to documents filed by Federline's attorney in his custody battle with Spears. The documents were released by the Superior Court on Thursday.

The tabs included $1,445 for clothing at Gianni Versace, $3,863 at TAO nightclub, and $3,008 at the Hard Rock Beach Club.

He appears determined not to be branded a cheap tipper. At Scores strip club, he dropped a cool $2,000 on a $365 meal bill.

Meanwhile, his company, Gooseneck Productions, Inc., spent $841,129 in 2007 while earning $544,075, according to the documents.

The aspiring rapper also spent big on attempts to prop up his struggling music career.

Federline had $74,102 in "music production" expenses, but earned only $9,849 in "music income," according to the documents, which did not elaborate.

The Superior Court commissioner dealing with the Federline-Spears custody battle has consistently awarded Federline attorneys fees.

In March, Spears' divorce attorney, Stacy Phillips, argued that Federline's attorneys were overbilling, and her client should not be required to pay.

Phillips said that Federline tipped extravagantly. Indeed, a credit card statement showed a $1,100 tip for a $2,782 bill at a Los Angeles restaurant.

Federline still owed $343,834 in fees to his attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, when the documents released Thursday were filed in January.

Spears pays her ex-husband $15,000 per month in child support for 2-year-old Sean Preston and 1-year-old Jayden James. Her monthly spousal support payments of $20,000 ended in November.

The accounting statement mixes personal expenses, like $1,500 per week for a nanny to care for the two toddlers, and business expenses, like $2,500 per month for his manager.

After playing a secretary in a US sitcom, Britney Spears has been offered a job as a real-life receptionist from animal rights group People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals (PETA).

The pop star made a cameo appearance on CBS' comedy show 'How I Met Your Mother' and now PETA President Ingrid E. Newkirk has made a written job offer to the 26-year-old star.

PETA bosses, claim that their job offer is not an April Fool's Day joke, but said that they are targeting Britney as she has earlier worn fur and bought animals from pet stores.

"After seeing your excellent performance on How I Met Your Mother, PETA would like to offer you a real job as a receptionist," Contactmusic quoted Newkirk, as writing in the offer letter.

He added: "It could be for as little as an hour, and you would see - from the inside - why we are so concerned about issues like fur and homeless dogs and cats. As a 'thank you' for your willingness to learn and help, we would donate 1,000 dollars to a children's charity."

Britney Spears the Broadway star? The pop singer, and recently TV guest actress, has been reportedly offered the lead female role in the West End production of "A Streetcar Named Desire."

A source reveals, "Britney's been on the list for this for some time but was considered too risky until recently. Her appearance in the American TV show 'How I Met Your Mother' changed all that. She had poised, timing and real flair."

"We wanted her for Blanche because, even though she's technically too young to play her, who else could embody this fallen Southern Belle so well?"

Spears, 26, recently gave boost to the said sitcom's rating after she successfully played a dorky receptionist. Her performance was a hit among viewers and critics alike.

The source adds, "She's living out the story, so to harness that on stage would be amazing for an audience to see - and cathartic for Britney, too."

Lindsay Lohan is getting her career back in action after she served 84 minutes in jail for drunken driving and cocaine possession charges in November and after some rehabilitation programs. She has signed up to play in a film about murderer Charles Manson.

Lohan will portray Nancy Pitman, who grew up in a wealthy household in Malibu. At 16 a friend introduced her to Manson. She was mesmerized by him and she moved in with him, becoming one of his followers. She was home with Manson on the night he sent members of his "Family" to the former home of ex-business associate Terry Melcher, where they killed actress Sharon Tate and four others, according to a report published by E! News.

She didn’t participate in the famous murder but she later went with Manson to leave false clues.

As E! News reported, before shooting “Manson Girls” Lohan will shoot the comedy “Ye Olde Times” with Jack Black and David Arquette this spring.

She told People she doesn’t consider this as a “comeback.” “I think this is what I love to do," she said. "I'm just continuing to do it – in the right ways.”

“Yes, I am doing it with Lindsay," the film's director, Brad Wyman, confirmed. The film is being produced by his company Junction Films.

Last year she portrayed Jude, a friend of Mark David Chapman, the murderer of John Lennon. Jared Leto played Chapman’s role.

Unfortunately, she won two worst actress awards for her role in “I Know Who Killed Me,” a major box office flop with $9 million worldwide.

Angelina Jolie is reportedly expecting a boy and girl.

The 32-year-old actress and her partner Brad Pitt - who already have three adopted children and one biological daughter - are thrilled with the news and can't wait to introduce their kids to the twins when Angelina gives birth this summer.

A source said: "They are having a boy and a girl. Because Angelina took fertility treatments to help her ovulate, her babies are fraternal. They're ecstatic. She can't wait."

Although Angelina is enjoying the pregnancy, she is said to be finding the strain of carrying two babies hard work.

The source added to In Touch Weekly magazine: "It has been a bit difficult for Angelina. She is out of breath a lot but loves every second of it."

The actress plans to raise her baby in France, to honour her late mother Marcheline Bertrand - who was of French-Canadian descent on her father's side - and Brad is said to be fully supportive of the big move.

The source said: "He told her he loves going along with her crazy plans. He has learned to live with a messy house with toys everywhere."

The couple have reportedly bought a chateau in the south of France which they plan to make their new family home.

Marcheline died of ovarian cancer in January 2007.

Jamie Lynn Spears is seeking professional help for her emotional issues. The pregnant 16-year-old sister of Britney is reportedly seeing a therapist since January at her mother Lynne's request.

A source tells the National Enquirer, "Lynne and [dad] Jamie Spears are both concentrating on Britney now. Jamie Lynn isn't the center of attention, and she's taking care of herself in Kentwood."

"She's frightened about being a new mom and isn't sure she knows what to do once the baby arrives. Her experience is limited to a few visits with her nephews, and she lacks the confidence that she'll be a good mom."

The "Zoey 101" star is also allegedly taking parenting classes at a pregnancy center.

Meanwhile, reports surface that Jamie Lynn and baby daddy Casey Aldridge are currently "on the outs." They have not officially split but the actress feels she needs time off from Aldridge.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is pretty miffed these days as her allegedly topless picture had been flashed across various TV channels, few days back.

Abhishek Bachchan is apparantly upset over these 'topless' pictures and is keen to take drastic step and having a talk with his lawyers regarding this defamatory issue.

Ash has also taken the matter very seriously and released a statement saying that the pictures are fabricated and that she was never involved.

“She would never do something like that. You know the actress you are talking about.

No matter at which time in her profession they say these pictures were taken we can guarantee you that they are just the work some of some publicity hungry individual,” says Ash’s manager, “She has made it clear that she will take action against anyone who publishes them on the assumption that they are hers. And so will her close ones.”

He also adds that this new rumour hasn’t gone done well with the actress or the rest of her family.

The picture reportedly shows Ash in a pair of tiny denim shorts with her back to the camera with other models as well some other ones that are much more bold.

Los Angeles Court Commissioner Scott Gordon ruled Monday that Britney Spears would take care of ex-husband Kevin Federline’s legal fees in their child custody dispute, paying him $375,000.

It is somewhat ironic that pop singer Britney Spears should pay her former husband’s legal fees in their ongoing child custody dispute but Commissioner Scott Gordon ruled Monday that this is how things would go.

Mark Vincent Kaplan, Federline’s lead attorney, asked for nearly $500,000 last week but Gordon found that $375,000 was a more appropriate sum. He wrote that Britney’s actions had been one of the main causes of delays in the case, E! Online reports.

The singer’s attorney, Stacy Phillips, argued that Kaplan was over-charging and that Federline can afford to pay his own legal bills, as suggested by a recent $2,000 tip on a restaurant bill of $365.

The 26-year-old mother of two remains under the conservatorship of her father, Jamie Spears, until July 31.

As to other aspects of Britney's life, her self-declared friend and manager, Sam Lutfi, agreed to stay away from her for another 30 days it was announced this weekend. His spokesperson confirmed the agreement, commenting that the two sides are “happy” with the decision.

“There is an agreement between Sam Lutfi and the conservatorship for the next 30 days,” Lutfi spokesman Michael Sands said Sunday, as quoted by the Associated Press. “Both parties are happy and will continue to work together to further resolve any issues that may have come up in the past.”

A judge officially approved the agreement at a hearing Monday, E! Online reports. Neither Lutfi nor Jamie Spears were present.

The restraining order against Lutfi was placed in late February and was to expire Monday, March 17. The restraining order can be extended to five years or even be made permanent.

Lutfi is currently forbidden from going within 250 yards of Britney and her home, as well as the homes of her family members. He is not allowed to contact her in any way.

The singer’s parents requested the restraining order accusing Lutfi of moving into Britney’s house, drugging her, cutting off the phone lines and basically attempting to control her life.

Sam Lutfi reportedly has agreed to keep his distance from troubled U.S. pop star Britney Spears for another month.

Lutfi, a member of the singer's entourage sometimes described in media reports as her manager, hasn't been allowed to have any contact with the recording artist since last month.

A temporary restraining order keeping him away from Spears was set to expire Monday, however, Lutfi has agreed to keep his distance for another month and the pact between representatives for Lutfi and Spears' family is expected to be approved by a Los Angeles court, People.com said.

Spears was hospitalized twice for psychiatric evaluation and treatment earlier this year.

Her father Jamie and another court-appointed co-conservator have been handling most of her affairs since then.

The singer's mother Lynne filed court papers last month claiming Lutfi ground up a sleeping medication and an anti-psychotic drug prescribed to treat bipolar disorder, then fed them to Britney Spears, Usmagazine.com said.

Lutfi told the magazine he gave Britney Spears "a handful of pills" to help her sleep.

People.com said police are investigating Lynne Spears' allegations.
